We are all very much aware of the “throw away” society that seems to be so prevalent today; it is therefore a refreshing change when one of our fabric suppliers LINWOOD FABRICS introduced us to their “SADDLE” range of recycled leather designs.
This innovative product is made from recycled leather from the fashion industry and combined with polyester produces a beautiful leather product on a 137cm wide roll with a Martindale rub test of 45000 rubs (contract wear rating). The “SADDLE” range offers three designs and 15 colours, all conforming to the FR (fire retardant specifications).
We are delighted to offer this product to our customers and as you can see from the picture below it certainly creates a stunningly beautiful sofa. Our customer has chosen the “Saddle” design in chestnut, for the body of the sofa, and they have co-ordinated the seat and back cushions in the fabulous Art of the Loom “UTOPIA” Luxor Blond velvet with the Peacock in cranberry design.
