TailorMade Sofas is a family run business that has been going since the 1940s. We design and manufacture high quality bespoke furniture in High Wycombe.
In the 1960’s our business grew into a mass production factory supplying three piece suites to High Street names. These included Courts, Kingsway and many independent furniture shops throughout the country. Since then we have only grown as a business and continue to create quality bespoke sofas that provide memories for families and friends for years to come.

High Wycombe has a very long history in the furniture trade. It has it’s roots in the activities of 19th century chairmakers who made High Wycombe the chair making capital of the world. The area in and around High Wycombe became the biggest producer of chairs in the country, and between 1851 & 1871 the population of High Wycombe parish grew by 46% due to the trade.
The change from being simple a chair making town to becoming the 2nd largest furniture making town in the country took place over the turn of the 20th Century and has continued ever since.

We have a large showroom in High Wycombe which includes free parking. Our workshop is located above the showroom. This provides us with absolute control of every aspect of the manufacturing and production process for each piece of furniture.

Tailormade sofas offer a comprehensive range of quality furnishing fabrics, from a selection of fabric suppliers. We have accounts with a large number of well known fabric houses, as well as those who only supply to the Trade. If you require a fabric which is not present in our range, we may be able to source it or, we are able to offer a ‘customers own material’ service.
